Crafting in ArcheAge Chronicles includes weapons, armor, materials and consumables. Royal Army Longbow provides a concrete bow recipe: Smithing level 1, five Standard Lumber, 15 Shattered Blade, 15 Bone Chip and 4,800 gold in RaidDex’s 5 November 2026 entry.
Professions and conflicting catalog totals
RaidDex lists 15 professions across production, refining and crafting. Its crafting guide still labels the body as 238 recipes while its navigation lists 356. These are two counts within one database, not independent estimates. Neither is treated as an official game-wide total.
Production includes Butchering, Exploration, Farming, Gathering and Mining. Refining includes Food, Wildcraft, Cloth, Refining and Smelting; crafting includes Smithing, Tailoring, Engineering, Alchemy and Cooking. Use the recipe’s named station rather than assuming every crafting station can make every item.

Royal Army Longbow recipe
The item is an uncommon level-10 Ranger bow; the required crafting profession is Smithing level 1. Learn it from [Recipe] Royal Army Longbow and use a Weapon Workbench or Blacksmith’s Workbench. The database names both station types, but currently maps six Weapon Workbenches and zero Blacksmith’s Workbenches, so a named station is not a promise of a mapped location.
The recipe entry now says its materials changed since the demo. It lists Standard Lumber, not the earlier Standard Ingot alternative retained in the research snapshot. The direct craft costs 4,800 gold; the database separately calculates 5,300 gold for the full chain including intermediate crafting. These are different cost scopes, so both labels matter.
