ArcheAge Chronicles classes

ArcheAge Chronicles launches with four fixed classes. Each class holds two weapons. You do not mix skill lines the way the 2013 game did, and no class-change feature has been announced.

Gender is locked at launch. Producer Ham’s 29 October letter says a female Warrior and the Gladius arrive in the first December update, and that the goal is to remove every gender lock before full release. Playable races are not listed. Character creation covers the lock in more detail.

Third weapons, later

Each class is planned to gain a third weapon over Early Access. Only the Warrior’s Gladius is named by the producer for December. RaidDex lists a Crossbow for Ranger and a Vitality Staff for Mage with the label “not playable yet.” I do not call those official names.
