ArcheAge Chronicles character creation

Character creation in ArcheAge Chronicles is a class pick with a fixed body. Four classes, two of them male and two of them female at the 3 November launch. Playable races are not on the store page or the producer letter.

The gender lock

Warrior is male. Berserker is male. Ranger is female. Mage is female. Producer Ham’s 29 October letter says the first December update adds a female Warrior, and that the aim is to remove every gender lock before full release. A male Mage and a male Ranger have no date in that letter. Presets were expanded in a 29 October note; I do not have a count of slider options.

Races and rerolls

Searches for races and classes do not land on a species list. I am not inventing elves, humans, or Nuia names for this game. The original ArcheAge had factions and races. This character screen, as described, does not publish them. You also cannot change class after creation. A wrong click means a new character, not a barber ticket.
