ArcheAge Chronicles Warrior

The Warrior is the front-line class in ArcheAge Chronicles. At launch the body is male, the weapons are Longsword and Greatsword, and the December update is supposed to add a female Warrior plus a third weapon, the Gladius.

Two weapons, two jobs

Longsword play is timing. RaidDex and the class write-ups describe Parry, Closing Slash, Whirlwind Slash, and Bladeburst, with Crimson Surge as a blood-path spender when you stay aggressive instead of fishing for parries. I would not copy a damage percent from that database onto a guide as if it were a patch note. Those multipliers move.

Greatsword play spends Resolve. Brace stores it. Leaping Strike, Unbridled Might, Final Cleave, Rampage, and Warrior’s Cry are the names that show up on both the progression post’s branch talk and the database skill list. The damage branch reworks Sunder into Sweeping Slash, a wider two-hit. The defensive branch adds Pummel Strike, usable while blocking, and a shield. Point costs for those nodes are not published.

Starting attributes and the Kyrios line

aac-tools recorded a demo level-1 Longsword Warrior at Strength 29, Agility 16, Constitution 17, Intelligence 10, Talent 11, Endurance 7, a total of 90. That is a demo snapshot. I am not using it as the Early Access starting sheet until a second reading shows the same row.

The class fantasy points at Kyrios, the god of destruction, previously Jin Evernight of the Shadowhawk twin swords. That sentence is in the class material RaidDex and the lore pages repeat. It is background, not a stat.

Attribute points themselves come from levels, three per level, and are a different pool from trait points, which come from Raeven’s Coilstones. A Warrior who dumps every level point into Strength still needs Coilstone progress to open the Greatsword branches. The stats guide separates those two pools.

December, and what I will not rank

Producer Ham’s letter names the female Warrior and the Gladius for the first December update, without a day. Until that build is on the news hub, this page still says male-only at launch. I also will not declare the Greatsword “the best Warrior weapon.” The tier-list page is a community board of 16 builds, and How To Video Game said a reliable ranking did not exist at launch balance.
