Lost Fishing Pole is a hidden quest at Seaglass Beach described by Mature Minded Gamers. It sends you from a beach fisher to recover a drifted rod near the sunken ruins. The quest route is separate from a full fishing profession.
Lost Fishing Pole
Mature Minded Gamers describes the quest in a short video. Talk to the fisher at the beach hut. The quest does not enter your log and does not drop a map marker. Swim toward the sunken ruins, rest on rocks when stamina runs out, dive for a drifted fishing rod, and bring it back. That is the whole published route. I am not adding fish species or sell prices on top of it.

What the other catalogs omit
Steam’s feature list names hunting, gathering, housing, farming, and crafting. Fishing is not in that sentence. RaidDex’s 15 professions also skip it. A search for “fishing rod” or “fishing pole” is explained by this one quest item, the drifted rod, rather than by a life skill. If a later patch adds the skill, this page should grow a second section. It does not have one today.
