ArcheAge Chronicles Longbow
The Longbow belongs to the Ranger, who is female at launch. It is the ranged half of that class. The Hatchet is the other launch weapon. A Crossbow shows up only as a database entry marked not playable yet.
Marks, then the shot
The loop written up across RaidDex and the class guides is Mark, then Rapid Fire, then Aimed Shot or Fire Arrow. Ice Arrow is the control shot. Crescent Kick is the close-range answer when someone reaches you. The launch letter says Fire Arrow was reworked, so a demo tooltip for that skill is the wrong version. Soft-lock aim is a complaint the same letter says is still being improved. I am not going to claim a later patch already fixed it.
Royal Army Longbow, the crafted one
Royal Army Longbow is a named item, not a second class. RaidDex lists it as a level-10 uncommon bow made with Smithing at level 1. The recipe updated on 5 November lists five Standard Lumber, 15 Shattered Blade and 15 Bone Chip, for 4,800 gold. It labels the materials as changed since the demo; the earlier Ingot alternative is not in the current recipe. The rolled stat they print is physical critical damage, a range of +136 to +157. They do not print a fixed attack power, and I will not invent one.
Can you craft a bow at all? Yes, that item is the concrete answer. The crafting page holds the profession list. The materials table is on the crafting page; this item is a craftable example rather than evidence for an unspecified drop location.
