ArcheAge Chronicles PvP

PvP in ArcheAge Chronicles is not forced on every channel. Peace channels do not let players damage each other. Conflict channels do, except for your party and guild. You switch at a Nui Statue, and the switch has a cooldown.

Channels, not a flag on your head

The PvP essay on Steam and the aac-tools write-up agree on the shape. A channel holds about 100 people. On a peace channel, attacks against players do not land. On a conflict channel, everyone outside your party and guild is a target. Monster experience on conflict channels is listed at about 10 to 15 percent higher. The demo moved the first statue to just after the opening town, so the choice shows up early. Friendly-fire searches map to that party-and-guild exception, not to a separate toggle I could find.

What is not a mode yet

There is no ranked ladder and no arena in the current notes. A 2024 producer letter talked about exploring larger battles. “Exploring” is not a queue you can join in November 2026. Tendra, if you saw the name in a search, is not given a separate ruleset on the pages I compared. I am not inventing a faction war to match the 2013 game.
