ArcheAge Chronicles story and setting

ArcheAge Chronicles takes place in Auroria, described as a legendary land being found again, about 50 years after the original game. The store calls the era an Age of Pioneers. No source gives a calendar year for that gap.

The setup the store actually prints

You enter as a member of a trading company, not as a chosen monarch. The opening hooks named in official copy are ancient ruins, an airship crash, and a conspiracy around a “mysterious and tragic event.” Nui remains in the world as tears, blessings, and the statue where you change channels. The Warrior’s lineage points at Kyrios, once Jin Evernight. The Mage’s points at Aranzeb. Those two names are class flavor. They are not a complete pantheon list.

Searches for “background” often want a wallpaper. This page is the story. There is no wallpaper download here.

What I will not invent

A year-by-year chart from the 2013 war to this expedition does not exist in the posts I read. Regions — Diamond Shores, Gylden Ruins, Astron Plains — each get their own story, bosses, and dungeons, according to the launch material. That is as specific as the timeline gets.
